Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Santa Barbara County, California. You will work in a commercial truck tyre depot. Requirements: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Day to day you will vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
