Site safety steward • Elliott County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in Elliott County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Six days a week, one day off.
