Formwork erector • Richland County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork erector in Richland County, Illinois. You will work on a residential tower site. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
