GMAW welder wanted in Beauregard Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent The role involves: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Part-time with flexible hours.
