Counter butcher — Eaton County

Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Eaton County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
