Production operative — Huntington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production operative in Huntington County, Indiana. You should have: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings Your main tasks: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
