Vertical transportation technician wanted in Refugio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Refugio County, Texas. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 3+ years on the tools preferred.
