Foundry operative • Onna, Akwa Ibom State

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Onna, Akwa Ibom State. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer ₦290,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
