Immediate opening: incoming goods inspector (Kansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Clay County, Kansas. You will be based in an electronics assembly workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day to day you will compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
