We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
