The role involves: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
