We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Carver County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Performance bonus on top of base pay.
