Steel fixer — Abi

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Abi, Cross River State. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer ₦115,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
