Cold room technician • Chambers County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in Chambers County, Texas. You will be based at a busy refrigeration workshop. On a typical shift you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. You should have: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
