Great opportunity: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Gallatin County, Kentucky. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Day to day you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
