Semi-automatic welder wanted in Butte County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Butte County, Idaho. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
