Gas pipeline fitter — Tulare County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Tulare County, California. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
