Argon arc welder • Albany County, Wyoming

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Albany County, Wyoming. You will work on a structural steel site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
