Great opportunity: elevator repair technician (North Dakota)

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Cass County, North Dakota. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
