Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
