Immediate opening: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Washington County, Alabama. The job is on a pipeline and trenching crew. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
