Cnc turning machinist • Union Parish, Louisiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Union Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
