Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Lamar County, Alabama. The role involves: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits 3+ years on the tools preferred.
