We are recruiting: we are hiring a halal butcher in Macon County, North Carolina. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers The role involves season and marinate meat on request; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts.
