You should have: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines Day to day you will pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line.
