The role involves: • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Read fault codes and clear them after the repair • Replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
