Gantry crane operator wanted in Queens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Queens County, New York. You will work in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day-to-day duties: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block 2+ years on the tools preferred.
