Horticulturist — Goochland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Goochland County, Virginia. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage You will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
