Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Apa, Benue State. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
