Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Northern Ireland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops. You should have: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers Rotating shifts.
