Gas service engineer • Dorchester County, Maryland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Dorchester County, Maryland. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
