Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Livingston County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring).
