Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 4+ years on the tools preferred.
