Powder coating technician • Starke County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Starke County, Indiana. You will work at an automotive components factory. You will set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects 3+ years on the tools preferred.
