Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Placer County, California. The job is on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
