Lift erector • Calvert County, Maryland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift erector in Calvert County, Maryland. On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
