Join our team: reinforcement fitter (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Six days a week, one day off. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
