We are recruiting: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Knox County, Maine. You will be based in a metal finishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Day-to-day duties: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
