Excavator operator wanted in Erie County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Erie County, Ohio. The job is at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing On the job you will handle: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
