Laundry presser wanted in Saint Louis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Saint Louis County, Minnesota. The job is at a garment factory. On a typical shift you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
