Stainless steel welder — Mariposa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Mariposa County, California. Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Full-time with occasional weekends.
