Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Louisiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
