Elevator repair technician — Harrison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Harrison County, Iowa. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts.
