Concrete finisher — Jones County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Jones County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 3+ years on the tools preferred.
