Overlocker operator wanted in Grant County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Grant County, New Mexico. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. On a typical shift you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Part-time with flexible hours.
