Immediate opening: TIG welder (Wyoming)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Carbon County, Wyoming. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day-to-day duties: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
