Bar bender and fixer — Niagara County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Niagara County, New York. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
