Plastering hand wanted in Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plastering hand in Essex County, Virginia. The job is at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
