Now hiring: building site helper (Jigawa State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a building site helper in Miga, Jigawa State. You will be based on a commercial building project. Your main tasks: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
