Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Crawford County, Iowa. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
